Pat Knapper-Smith, Director, Office of Parent & Community Relations, is retiring. . . . Duties for Cecilia Cummings, Director of Communications, expand to include Parent & Community Relations and faith-based initiatives. . . . Fernando Gallard will move to Director of Communications. . . . Vincent Thompson, Media Relations Manager, will move to Deputy Director of Communications. . . . Janet Samuels, Regional Superintendent, West Region, moves to Superintendent of the new Center City (Academic) Region. Shirl E. Gilbert II replaces Samuels in the West Region.
