This afternoon 66 teachers will receive the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation's Distinguished Teaching Award and a $3,500 prize.

Philly.com has a photo gallery of all of the winners. The winners were nominated by colleagues and students, and they will be presented the awards today at the Prince Music Theatre.

A month ago, the Lindback Foundation gave out the first-ever Lindback Distinguished Principal Leadership Award to six principals.

The Distinguished Teaching Award was created in 2008.

UPDATE: The District issued a press release with a full list of the winners.
