I haven't read enough about this cheerleading stuff, but the debate is sort of fascinating or brilliant or diabolical or I don't know what. So basically if cheerleading is a sport, it's a way schools could get around federal law that dictates girls' sports have to have equal funding. But, saying it's not a sport--holy crap do those people have to work out--just defies logic.
