Students at for-profit colleges are more likely to be stuck in debt, study finds Inquirer
According to a report released Monday by the National Consumer Law Center, students who attend for-profit schools face more financial risk than their counterparts in nonprofit schools. A Senate committee report, also released Monday, found that students who leave for-profit colleges face higher debt loads, owing a median of $32,700 compared with $24,600 for students who have left private, nonprofit institutions.
