The Philly High School Fair will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, at The Armory at Drexel University. The fair, which is open to parents and students, will provide information about admissions criteria, academic resources, extracurricular activities, and other special programs at more than 80 public, private, charter and Catholic high schools throughout the city.
When the School District announced earlier this year that it would cancel the high school fair as a way to curb spending, the Philadelphia School Partnership offered to underwrite the event and worked with partner groups to plan it.
The Notebook will have a booth at the fair. Staff members will be on hand to distribute copies of the Notebook’s annual Fall Guide to High Schools, a publication that lists individual school profiles and data for the city’s more than 80 public school options, including enrollment, admission requirements, and extracurricular activities. The school profiles can also be found on the Notebook website.
Please stop by the Notebook booth to pick up a copy of the fall guide and also receive information about membership.
The fair goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Armory is located at 3205 Lancaster Ave. (entrance near 33rd and Market Streets).
