While it is great Northeast HS has improved their Advanced Placement scores, remember, Northeast HS has an internal magnet program larger than many small high schools (about 150 - 175 students per grade.) Requirements are the same as Central. Other neighborhood high schools do not have any internal magnet program and it impacts AP courses. Vallas took magnet programs out of all neighborhood high schools except Northeast and Washington. (Northeast's program is much more established than Washington's.)
