Arise Academy Charter High School

About this school...

Mission Statement:
Arise coordinates and streamlines interaction between community members who support students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being. Central to our mission is a team-focused approach to serving youth in care. We perfect reading and math skills and provide students with real-life experiences, which are valued by faculty, school leaders, and their peers.

Points of pride:
Low teacher-to-student ratio; personalized learning and intensive support; external partners and enhanced resources; caring faculty and staff

Entrepreneurship, Social Networking, eLibrary, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Measures for positive, safe learning:
Staff and administration focus on assisting students in reaching their full potential. Students learn and grow in an atmosphere of mutual respect and appreciation for individual talent. Students realize the intrinsic value of education and family and become part of a community of lifelong learners. We prepare students to take their places in society as responsible workers or students of higher education.

Parent Involvement:
Volunteering during the Literacy & Numeracy block; volunteering with field trips, prom, student recruitment and open houses

When I watched the video, I actually felt chills from the excitement of knowing that a school of this level exists. Made me so hopeful that my grandson will have an opportunity to do all the things in a school that he is interested in. He is great at playing chess. Maybe he will have the opportunity to even mentor other interested students.
