District needs a teacher directory
To the editors:
The Philadelphia school system should learn from the Upper Darby School District about better communication between parents and teachers by listing the teachers’ names, positions, and email addresses. It would help to list other staff as well.
In Upper Darby, elementary schools actually have librarians.

Seconded. It is very difficult indeed to get contact info for anyone below than the regional superintendent-level staff. What's worse, when you call 400-4000, you often get stuck in voicemail limbo, unable to find the person you want in the directory or to get a human being to find them either.

I have a field placement at a Philly school called the school and the lady told me to look online on the directory and I was like what directory? you can find the school site on the philadelphia district's site, but it doesn't list the teacher's email or name.
