Who do YOU think should be superintendent?
School Reform Commissioner Wendell Pritchett wants to hear from you.
Philadelphia’s hunt for a new superintendent begins in earnest this week, and Pritchett, who is chairing the search committee, wants recommendations.
“I’m begging,” he said during an extensive interview last week. “We need to cast a wide net and get a diverse pool so that we can find the best person.”
Pritchett said he specifically hopes to hear from students, parents, and teachers – in other words, Notebook readers.
