National College Fair to be held at Convention Center on Sunday

400 schools will be represented; students can get information on financial aid, admissions requirements and more.

High school seniors – and other interested students – in Philadelphia and the surrounding area will be able to meet with representatives from about 400 colleges and universities at the Philadelphia National College Fair on Sunday.

The fair, which will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., is sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling and hosted by its Pennsylvania affiliate.

It is free and open to the public, but pre-registration, especially for seniors, at this site is recommended. Registrants are asked basic information about themselves and their interests.

Students will be able to meet one-on-one with admission representations from a wide range of schools – national and international, large and small, liberal arts and technical, public and private, two-year and four-year. They can gather information about financial aid, course offerings, and campus environment.

More information is available at the NACAC site.

The National College Fair is now in its 42nd year and annually reaches some 675,000 students and their families.
