Masch to leave District

Michael Masch, the District's former chief financial officer, will leave the District at the end of May.
At a budget hearing in West Philadelphia on Tuesday night, School Reform Commission Chairman Pedro Ramos disclosed that Masch's last day would be May 31, according to several people who were present.
Masch was demoted in January when the SRC hired Thomas Knudsen to be acting superintendent and chief recovery officer and announced that the District was in severe fiscal distress.
Masch, a Mount Airy resident, also served as state budget director under Gov. Rendell.
He was CFO under former Superintendent Arlene Ackerman, and numerous accounts said that the two did not get along. Although deep state aid cuts and the loss of federal stimulus funds were the immediate cause of the District's crisis, Ramos said that "bad fiscal policy" during Ackerman's administration was also to blame.
Neither Masch nor Ramos immediately returned requests for comment.

So, when does Nunnery leave? He is also part of the problem (along with Nixon, Driver, Wayman, and other Ackerman hold overs).
