sorry this is late. But i founf the auditions process was fairly easy, it's the waiting and wondering if you got in that can be nerve racking. WHat are you planning to come to CAPA for?

im a 9th grader and i want to apply for 10th grade is that possible? Alsp have pretty bad attendance but good grades.
Submitted by Anonymous on September 20, 2014 10:40 am

Hi! I go to CAPA. So, if you have good grades and bad attendance you chances of getting in are, maybe, I'd say 55%. I could be wrong. Good grades do come before attendance, but not with colleges. You should try to work on your attendance.

You can only come for one major. We don't have football, this a performing arts school, not a sports school.

Its not hard at all it was very easy. They were very helpful. If u don't know the theory test its OK that's what they prepare you for when u attend it was fun and a wonderful experience and the teachers are wonderful

I go there you just have to work hard and what you are going there for make sure you can do it we'll but the judges are hard on you..

Well it is very hard to get pass your auditions for Instrumental Music. The teachers for Instrumental Music, are known all around the world! I passed my music audition on Saxophone and Violin. You have to call the school the day after MLK Jr. day to find out if you got into CAPA or not. Thats how you find out if you got in or not. If I were you, I would 110% pick CAPA to go to for high school if you are really into the Arts! If you are not into the Arts, dont even think about CAPA then.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 10, 2011 3:00 pm

I am a Capa Alumini c/o 1998. I was an instrumental Major. The audition for me was very easy but that was back in 1993/1994 when i actually auditioned. It may be harder now. Good luck!
