About this school...

Mission Statement:

To provide a multicultural environment that emphasizes health, technology, and arts and humanities in preparation for college. Students work on a “competency-based” system of study that requires mastery in each subject through a step-by-step program, enhanced by real-world learning.

i wanna attend this school whe im get to high school im in the 7th grade rigt now ad will be applying for high schools next year i get a's b's and one or 2 c's can i still attend

Of course as long as the c is in a minor subject or you improve it during your 8th grade year which we do check

I'm in 8th grade ..and I got accepted into flc , I had did the interview and everything and I am so looking foward to that school . When am I suppose to recieve my letter ?

I am not sure about the c .i do know the pssa test you take in 7th grade counts for ninth please don't have any problems with suspension either attend school everyday unless your sick

I'm a senior this year an I've been at FLC for 4 years, I love this school and the ppl. Im sure you will love it as well. You should recommend this school for of your choices. I'm a dance major, play basketball, softball,was the cheerleadring captain, and I'm playing volleyball this year.

There is a freshman Friday but its not as bad as it sounds, we threw water balloons at eachother last year... oh and silly string :)

do someone knows the differences between writing sample and writing essay or they are both the same

A reading sample is the essay depending on your topic and writing essay includes someone telling you what topic you have to choose... The last thing that I want to say is I hope that you get accepted to Flanklin Learning Center.. Wish you luck.

I'm in eigth grade at fsas (feltonville school of arts and sciences).
And this school is my number one pick!
I had a sister who graduated from here and she recomemnded "FLC" to me.
FLC actually came to my school to talk to my school about "FLC" and how things are over there, and what they do.
From what i heard this is the perfect school for me.

I go to FLC and from what I know, I don't think they have interviews but they have auditions for some majors. They might have interviews for one of the majors.

i got an audition too on friday at 9:00 am( vocal major) and you should ask your counsler to get that info my counsler told me that all counslors have that info. Good luck on your Audition

FLC does not classify themselves as a performing arts school. They do have several different performing arts curriculums though. My daughter is a freshman dance major and and is a very good student. This school is soooooo much better that the other performing arts school in the city that is suppose to be top notch...

They do not classify themselves as a performing arts school, but they do offer different kinds of performing arts. My daughter is a freshman dance major and she loves it and the academic are better that the leading performing arts school in the city of Philadelphia...
